On 10th December 2015, UN International Day of Human Rights, we launched a Thunderclap which sent a message of support to over 600,000 people on social media. We saw an immediate increase in visits to our website and significantly more people accessed the live web chat facility than average. We are grateful for the support of the Police, The Office of the Police Crime Commissioner, York Council and the many other agencies, organisations and individuals who supported the campaign. Each person who sought help that day, as a result of seeing our message on social media, may now be a step closer to living their life free from fear, violence and control. Working together, we can continue to raise awareness about domestic abuse and the advice and support that IDAS offer. Thank you
