We have got some great Challenge Events coming up during 2016, so why not join Team IDAS; get fit, have fun and raise money for a brilliant cause.

Every penny raised will provide vital funds for our children and young people's service and will make a real difference to children across North Yorkshire who are victims of domestic abuse.

Run

Laura after finishing the York Marathon for IDASRun for IDAS in one of the biggest charity road races in the region and win yourself a fabulous prize donated by the Grand Hotel and Spa, York.

We have got ten places up for grabs in the Asda Foundation York 10K taking place on Saturday 7th August 2016 and this year the runners from IDAS will be supported by the Grand Hotel & Spa, York.

The top IDAS fundraiser will be treated to a little post-race luxury as The Grand Hotel & Spa, York have donated a prize for the IDAS runner who raises the most. The recipient will be treated to a relaxing night at the five-star hotel including dinner in their 2 AA rosette restaurant, Hudson’s. The other 9 IDAS runners will each receive a free day pass to the hotel’s Spa. For more information and to register email: fundraising@idas.org.uk

This is a gentle walk so anyone can take part and we welcome groups of friends and families joining in.  The walk will end in the centre of York. Email: fundraising@idas.org.uk to register.

Cycle

Successful cyclists of the IDAS sponsored cycleOur popular sponsored bike ride is a fantastic way to raise money for IDAS cycling through the glorious Yorkshire countryside, with road-side stewards providing refreshments and encouragement.  There will be a 100km or 50km route to choose from, so it's an ideal event for experienced cyclists going solo or those taking a more leisurely approach riding with friends in small groups.
