Harriet qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2020, having trained at a top ten finance firm. She is an external auditor and has specialised in not-for-profit clients. She brings to IDAS her knowledge of the Charities SORP and financial reporting requirements, as well as insight into best practice and key challenges faced by the sector.
Harriet spent five years as a Special Constable for North Yorkshire Police and saw first-hand the reality of domestic abuse. She first became aware of IDAS through this role and understands the significance of the service for survivors.
