Sarah has worked in the charitable sector for over 20 years and has held her current role for over 10 years overseeing the expansion of IDAS from a small, local organisation to the largest specialist domestic abuse charity in the North.
Sarah is passionate about working to end abuse and violence and is dedicated to improving the legislation and practice that exists to protect victims and survivors.
She has served as a Board member for a number of charities and is proud to be Chair of the Women’s Aid Federation of England the leading national agency working to tackle abuse of women and girls.
