A dedicated women’s rights campaigner, Carmel is passionate about making a difference to the lives of all survivors of domestic abuse and sexual violence. Her work at IDAS includes liaising with the media on public policy and campaigns, informing domestic abuse policy and practice locally and nationally, delivering training and webinars, as well as research and development work in areas including family court and children and young people’s services.
