Would you like to be involved with IDAS? Have you any fundraising skills or experience in profile raising? Alternatively, do you have knowledge and understanding of domestic abuse, a good knowledge of charity law or environmental sustainability ? If the answer is yes to any of these questions then why not consider applying to be an IDAS trustee? We currently have two vacancies and it’s an exciting time to join us. Domestic abuse is at last being acknowledged across society and the government is committed to supporting services for victims and survivors.
Our trustee board helps make sure the work of IDAS happens, and will continue to happen into the future. The board is composed of a quirky range of people from various backgrounds, working hard as a team with the knowledge that what we do makes a real difference. Don’t worry if you have never been a charitable trustee before we will provide an induction programme along with further support or training as needed. The important thing is to have the right personal qualities, time and commitment to the service we provide. We also want a more diverse Board so if you feel you have something unique to contribute, be it through your ethnicity, gender or culture for example – please don’t hesitate – just apply.
