Taking place on Sunday, 1 August, the York 10K has become one of the biggest events on our fundraising calendar and is one of the UK’s most beautiful city runs. Starting from the Knavesmire, runners will pass some of York's most historic landmarks, including the city walls, Clifford’s Tower, and the Minster. The atmosphere will be electric from start to finish. And for runners chasing that elusive PB, the flat and fast course is perfect.

Last month, 34 supporters, survivors, members of staff and volunteers took part in the 2026 York 10K, and raised over £14,000! Please join us in 2027, when we hope to raise even more.

You’ll be part of a friendly and supportive team, and we’ll help you reach your fundraising goals and give you an IDAS running vest that you can wear on the day.
