We are pleased to announce that IDAS has been awarded the Women’s Aid National Quality Mark, demonstrating that we provide a high quality of service to women and children experiencing domestic abuse in North Yorkshire. The Women’s Aid Quality Standards are national standards which measure the quality of specialist domestic abuse services on a number of factors. The award recognises the high standards that we hold ourselves to and the positive impact that we make to our clients’ lives.

Women's Aid is the national domestic violence charity that co-ordinates and supports an England-wide network of over 250 local services working to end domestic violence against women and children.

Polly Neate, Chief Executive of Women’s Aid Federation England said:

“We are very proud to award IDAS the Women’s Aid National Quality Mark for their excellent work supporting women and children in Yorkshire. Specialist, high-quality domestic violence services can make the difference between a full, independent life and living in fear of your life for women escaping abuse. The hard work and dedication of the team at IDAS is making that difference, and I thank them for the very high quality of the service they provide.”

As the largest specialist domestic abuse charity in Yorkshire, we pride ourselves on the work we do and the difference we make to individuals, families and communities.
