Are you searching for a meaningful way to use your finance expertise? Do you want to make a positive difference for thousands of families every year? We are looking for a finance professional to support our work delivering vital, life changing services to survivors of domestic abuse and sexual violence across Yorkshire – could this be you?
IDAS is a well-established charity supporting survivors in North Yorkshire, Doncaster, Barnsley and Sheffield. Our support is free and open to anyone who is subject to domestic abuse or sexual violence. Our services include safe accommodation, one-to-one and groupwork support in the community, and access to our confidential helpline and live chat.
IDAS’s Board members (Trustees) oversee the effective governance of IDAS, ensuring the organisation delivers on its ambition to create transformative, lasting change for survivors, communities, and future generations.
Our Treasurer will lead Board-level activities to monitor IDAS’s financial performance and sustainability, help to ensure that we have robust financial policies and processes in place, and support other dedicated Board members to fulfil their collective responsibilities around finance.
This is an exciting time for IDAS. We are implementing our strategy to grow our accommodation offer to survivors and will be undertaking work to review our wider strategy in the coming year. If successful you will join our committed Board which comprises experienced and newer appointments.
If you think this might be the role for you we would love to hear from you.
